I’m Back!!!

Hello, my lovely readers! I’m back for good (I hope)! What the heck happened to me you ask? Well, I got a job. That’s right, folks, I’m now a contributing member of society. Since I moved to another city, my internet connection has been cut off. No more 24/7 Wi-Fi for me. I only use a broadband stick, and it’s good at best and really, really crappy at its worst. I, also, haven’t been able to plan out my blog posts, which I really need to stay on top of things. So anyways, here I am, writing this totally random blog post about where I’ve been and what I’ve been up to. One thing’s for sure, I lost some weight, and I am proud of myself for achieving something I’ve always wanted to do. I also turned 23 last month, which still feels the same when I was 22. I guess what I’m trying to say is, some things have changed but some have not. I moved to a big city and found my niche, but I’m, also, still the probinsyana from the small city. Let’s see how this probinsyana fares in the big city. Read my future posts on what I’ve been up to these last six months and what I’m going to be doing in the future. Beauty Thursday – DIY Moisturizer Mask

Before you even consider lathering on lots of makeup to cover your face you should consider the condition your skin is in. Your skin is considered as a canvas and before you paint anything on it you should make sure that your canvas is clean. So here’s a natural way to moisturize your skin without all those creams you lather everyday. It’s good to go through the natural root once in a while. So here it is:

Mix 2 tablespoons honey with 2 teaspoons milk. Smooth over face and throat. Leave on 10 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.

And that’s it. Make sure your face is moisturized always!

Mac & Cheese Tuesday

I’ve been craving Mac & Cheese for a while now and instead of looking for a place to buy some I decided to explore the kitchen and actually make some. Welcome to my first (documented) cooking session!

I was running low on groceries so I improvised and used leftover Queso de Bola! So this is like a “how to use leftovers” and “no bake” kind of recipe. Two in one! BAM!

Ingredients:

1 200g Elbow Macaroni

 1 small can Evaporated Milk (or any kind of milk)

 Quick Melting Cheese (substitute for Cheddar cheese)

Image

Queso de Bola (substitute for Parmesan cheese)

Image

Flour

Image

Black pepper

Image

Steps:

1. Cook elbow macaroni based on package directions (no picture since I was afraid that my pasta would stick to the pan if I left it to get my camera.)

2. Grate some cheese (Quickmelt and Queso de Bola)

3. Pour milk in a bowl

4. Mix 1/2 tablespoon of flour to the milk.

5. Cook milk and flour mixture in a sauce pan for 2-3 minutes. Add cheeses. (Don’t let this burn!)

P.S. Don’t forget to add a dash of pepper. I actually forgot to do this step. Hehe. But it still tasted good to me. I also added some diced leftover luncheon meat from breakfast.

6. Place cooked macaroni in sauce pan and mix.

Voila! It is done. Bon appétit!
